Welcome to NINJAL ICPP 2019 – 6th NINJAL International Conference on Phonetics and Phonology

We are very pleased to announce the 6th NINJAL International Conference on Phonetics and Phonology (NINJAL ICPP 2019) to be held in Tachikawa, Tokyo on December 13-15, 2019. This three-day conference is jointly organized by NINJAL’s collaborative research project “Cross-Linguistic Studies of Japanese Prosody and Grammar” and by UCSC’s grant on SPOT (Syntax-Prosody in OT).

NINJAL ICPP 2019 features the following two main topics
(a) Lexical pitch accent systems around the world
(b) Interface between prosody and syntax/information structure

We welcome poster presentations in these research areas as well as other research areas in phonetics/phonology. We will have two poster sessions: one is thematic (the main themes above) and the other is non-thematic (any topic related to phonetics/phonology). For details see CALL FOR PAPERS.
Oral presentations will be by invitation only. We will not be accepting abstracts for oral presentations.
