GemCon 2011 takes place in the Conference Room in the Faculty of Letters, Rokkodai campus of Kobe University. In order to get to this building, you need to get to either JR Rokkomichi station or Hankyu Rokko station first, and then take either the bus or taxi. For directions, see below.


How to get to JR Rokkomichi station/Hankyu Rokko station

How to get to Kobe University from JR Rokkomichi station/Hankyu Rokko station

You can either take the bus or taxi (and maybe walk once you get familiar with the neighbourhood). The directions are the following. You may find the university campus map, downloadable here, useful as well.

From JR Rokkomichi station

- By bus

Take either bus #16 (Rokko keeburu shita yuki) or #36 (Tsurukabutodanchi yuki) at the bus terminal, and get off at the stop Shindai Bunri Nogakubu mae. The ride takes about fifteen minutes.

- By taxi

Ask the driver to take you to Shindai Bungakubu. The ride takes about ten minutes. It costs about 1,000 Yen.

From Hankyu Rokko station

Exit from the North Exit at the station and take the bus #36 (Tsurukabutodanchi yuki) (up the hill) and get off at the stop Shindai Bunri Nogakubu mae. The ride takes about five minutes.

- By taxi

Ask the driver to take you to Shindai Bungakubu. The ride takes about three minutes, costing about 700 Yen.
