Welcome to the website of LabPhon 14, The 14th Conference on Laboratory Phonology that will take place from 25 to 27 July 2014 at the National Institute for Japanese Linguistics (NINJAL) in Tokyo, Japan.
Conference Themes
The general theme of the conference is Laboratory Phonology beyond the Laboratory: Quantitative Analyses of Speech Produced outside the Phonetics Laboratory.
Special sessions will be held on:
▪ fieldwork-based studies of endangered languages/
dialects
▪ corpus-based approaches to spontaneous speech
▪ acquisition of L1 phonology/prosody
