Aims & Scope

The International Conference on Practical Linguistics of Japanese (ICPLJ) aims to stimulate research in Japanese linguistics. The scope of this endeavor, as a matter of fact, covers a wide area, including linguistics - phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, lexicon, pragmatics, discourse analysis, applied linguistics, corpus linguistics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, second language acquisition, bilingualism, language teaching methods, language educational technology, language learning support, and language production. ICPLJ invites proposals for its eleventh international conference, ICPLJ11, which will be held at the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics in Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan. We welcome proposals for two types of contributions: (1) oral presentations and (2) posters.
